Former Champ Analyzes Hot Prospect Adelaida Ruiz

Another Look at “La Cobra” Adelaida Ruiz

Analysis By Former Champion Sindy Amador:

It was another big win for the sensational Adelaida “La Cobra” Ruiz who stole the show as usual in a night full of action.

Ruiz (7-0-0, 4 KOs) elevated her record by knockout over Jhosep Vizcaino (7-8, 2 KOs)

at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, California on the Battle of The Rising Stars fight card promoted by All Star Boxing on Nov. 3.

With a huge crowd waiting to see another spectacular performance the packed house saw the super flyweight prospect Ruiz in her usual dominant self. She did not disappoint the crowds and gave her boxing fans what they wanted to see: another knockout win. It was her fourth in-a-row.

Walking in the ring happy and confident “La Cobra” greeted her people with a smile and hand taps during the entrance in the event center.

But as soon as the bell rang she was all business.

Immediately Ruiz attacked “La Chica de Oro” with an explosion of good combinations. The young Ecuadorian fighter was brave and tried to fight back but Ruiz skills were totally superior putting her on the canvas at the very first round with a flurry of effective punches. The right hand connected perfectly by Ruiz but Vizcaino beat the 8-count and continued fighting. By the end of the first round Vizcaino got dropped again and she was saved by the bell.

Vizcaino came out to the second round moving and trying to get away from the rapid punches from “La Cobra”, but failed. The slightly taller Ruiz finished her job by knocking down Vizcaino with a left hook at 59 seconds of the second round. The referee Raul Caiz Jr. did not hesitate to wisely stop the fight.

The winner Ruiz, always humble, showed respect to her opponent and thanked the public.

So far the opponents of Ruiz have not showed enough power or ability to be competitive. It is difficult for the undefeated fighter to face good rivals. It also seems that no one wants to fight her from the California region.

But I definitely see her becoming a future world champion.
