LAS VEGAS-That’s how you become undisputed.

All the world titles dropped in Gabriela Fundora’s lap with a single left cross down the pipe on Gabriela Alaniz chin for a knockout win on Saturday.

Welcome to Las Vegas. Mission accomplished

Fundora (15-0, 7 Kos) walked into the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas with the IBF flyweight title against Argentina’s “La Chucky” Alaniz (15-2, 6 Kos) and walked out with the WBA, WBC and WBO world titles wrapped around her tall thin waist.

“This is a dream come true that I have made become a reality,” said Fundora.

Is anyone disputing her ownership?

During the first six rounds it was a cat and mouse game between the much taller Fundora and the much quicker but shorter Alaniz.

Alaniz used her feints and speed afoot to wait for Fundora to fire a punch and then retaliate with a punch or two of her own. It proved very effective as most of Fundora’s blows were not connecting with any accuracy, except the touch jab.

But in the back of Alaniz’s mind must have been a cloud of doubt as Fundora’s powerful blows whistled by her ear.

Though Alaniz connected quite a few times nothing fazed Fundora who was locked in like a guided torpedo.

“I didn’t really feel Alaniz’ power, but I knew she came to do what I did which is look for a knockout,” Fundora said.

Several times the two engaged in furious exchanges.

In the seventh round another explosive exchange saw Fundora drop Alaniz with a one-two combination. Alaniz immediately complained that it was a trip over Fundora’s leg. Referee Tom Taylor ignored it and the fight continued for a few more seconds when Fundora fired a single left hand bomb that turned the Argentine’s legs to jelly and down she went again. Immediately, Alaniz corner waved a white towel to signify their fighter was done for the night at 1:40 of the seventh round.

“I’m so happy,” Fundora said. “This is amazing.”
